Ubiquitous geothermal energy could be an important element of national energy security, as well as an energy supply to off-the-grid installations demanding minimal carbon footprint. Our closed-loop system is predictably steady with a negligible environmental impact neither consuming precious water, nor depleting ground water.
Taking advantage of improvements in drilling technology, we drill multiple standard size wells into hot rock formations in which we install our pipe-in-pipe, closed-loop heat harvesters that transports cool liquid down the outer pipe and hot liquid up the return inner pipe. The heat is extracted at the surface with a heat exchanger to be used directly or to be turned into electricity.

Geothermic Solution, LLC was formed to take advantage of the decades long, real world, experience and talents of co-founders Dr. Bohdan Zakiewicz and Dr. Piotr Moncarz. By combining Dr. Moncarz’ expertise in multi-disciplinary team leadership and project and engineering risk management with Dr. Zakiewicz’ patented, deep rock, heat harvesting technology they began the work to bring competitively priced, baseload, renewable energy to the world.
Since that time the team has grown to include world class experts in well design, drilling and completion, geology and geomechanics, power generation, energy economics and regulatory policy as well as former chief executives of nationally and internationally known companies.
The team continues to refine and improve upon the original idea of assembling, in a unique and proprietary way, ‘off the shelf’ technologies. We’re taking advantage of advances in tools, equipment, and know-how as well as breakthroughs in materials science. The critical process of combining all of these elements will result in a system, covered by a series of patents, that produces clean, renewable energy below the cost of other generation technologies.
